Forever Our Princess

A day we will never forget. Tayzli was in an accident while riding her horse with a family member. A little ride through our block and back home. A 5 minute ride. And our whole world was changed. Tay suffered a TBI injury when she was thrown from her horse after a car spooked it. It’s scary how perfect life can be, and in less than 5 minutes, your entire world can change. Her medical team did everything they could to help our sweet TayTay, but ultimately, there was nothing they could do. We decided as a family that we wanted to donate her organs to others that might be able to use them. It was one of the hardest decisions we have ever made, but ultimately it has changed our lives and it’s something we are very passionate about. We didn’t get the answer to our prayers when we were begging for her to wake up and dance her way out of that hospital. But we know Tayzli was the answer to so many other families prayers when her organs were able to successfully help 4 other people have a healthier and longer life. These pictures are so special to us, and we are so grateful we were able to hold our baby girl one last time before she became a hero. #taytaytough
