Third Angelversary

I thought I would be so on top of keeping this blog updated, but here we are! Behind schedule as usual in true Whitney fashion!

For Tayzli’s angelversary (The day she earned her wings) we wanted to celebrate it in the best way possible. We raised money ($1500) and were able to donate items to Primary Children’s Hospital! It was such a healing thing for me personally. I haven’t been back to Primary’s since Tay passed away and I was a nervous wreck leading up to it. Because of covid, we weren’t able to actually step inside the hospital, but I think that was best for me! I wasn’t quite ready to smell, hear and see the things from my last visit. Also because of covid, the hospital wasn’t able to accept donations for quite some time! By the time we donated we were so excited to get them the things they really needed and were out of. We bought diapers, pull ups, underwear, coloring books, crayons, combs, hair ties, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, bows, toys, and more!

We had so much fun raising money, shopping for items, getting them organized with friends, and then making a fun trip out of the whole experience. Primary Children’s hospital is about an hour away from our home, so we decided to stay the night with the kids at a fun hotel, and make a really hard day a little easier.

Thank you to EVERYONE that donated to our foundation this year. We hope to do it again every year, and to beat our donations from the year past. I love knowing that we are helping in the best way we know how!
